The aim of this scheme is to offer young students over the age of 14/15 an opportunity to access information and freely discuss topics not necessarily covered by their normal classes. The subjects offered for debate are selected from a list included in a questionnaire submitted to students beforehand and relate to life skills, personal development and awareness…

The choice depends on their answers.

I set up this scheme in 2007. I had a strong sense of a gap in the support offered to young people in these difficult and changing times. Many topical themes were not necessarily available for them to discuss and be more informed about.

The key to understanding this scheme is in the title:

it is informal and open, informative (specialist speakers) and interactive.
